Dr Hiu Lam Agnes Yuen is a Haematologist at Jessie McPherson and Haemostasis and Thrombosis Trials fellow at Monash Medical Centre. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Melbourne where she was awarded MBBS/BMedSci (Hons). She undertook her specialty training through Monash Medical Centre and Alfred Hospital. She is a fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) as well as the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA).
Dr Yuen is currently undertaking a PhD on venous thrombosis focusing on upper limb disorders. This research is through Monash University and the Australian Centre for Blood Diseases and facilitated by a Monash Health Haematology Research Grant. Her clinical and research interests include benign haematology such as venous thromboembolism, iron deficiency and transfusion medicine.
Dr Yuen consults at Clayton and will see patients with any haematological disorder including haematological malignancies, iron deficiency as well as thrombosis.
