Dr Ashish Bajel is a Consultant Haematologist and Bone Marrow Transplant Physician at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. He graduated from University of Mumbai, India followed by specialist training in internal medicine and haematology culminating in a DM (Clinical Haematology). He subsequently became a fellow of The Royal College of Pathologists (RCPA) and Physicians (RACP) specializing in clinical and laboratory Haematology.

Dr Bajel is actively involved in clinical research as a principal investigator and associate investigator in a wide range of clinical trials at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.


"Dr Bajel has expertise across a range of benign and malignant haematological conditions with a special emphasis on lymphomas, myelomas, myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative disorders. He also consults on patients with clotting and bleeding disorders"
